Coast Pump Station and Forcemain Design
Design included structural repairs of the existing wetwell, replacement of the submersible pumps including all mechcanical, electrical and instrumentation upgrades, and construction of a new valve vault including isolation and bypassing equipment. The project also included installation of a 2-barrel 100% redundant 800 ft 4” forcemain under a lagoon and railroad tracks by horizontal directional drilling. The use of trenchless methods substantially reduced environmental issues, shortening the project design/permitting period and construction costs.

Colladay Reservoir Project
Project included the design of a new 2.8-MG welded steel potable water reservoir in Temescal Valley, California. The Design included hydraulic modeling, reservoir siting and layout, equipment selection, detailed design of the reservoir, and design of ductile iron and PVC waterlines to connect the proposed reservoir to the existing potable water system.

Well 7 and 8 Iron and Manganese Removal Project
Design of a potable water treatment plant for removal of Iron and Manganese from the water system supply wells. The project included development of a preliminary design report to size the treatment facility, development of the construction documents for public bidding, and oversight of the bid and construction process for the District. This project was completed as part of the USDA’s Rural Development grant Program that provides funding to aid small rural communities. As part of the requirements of the grant we provided complete design services and contract administration from concept planning to plant startup.
